This device allows you to see the TV output to your Xbox, and said output through the screen of your laptop. What we do is not allow you to play Xbox games without your Xbox and be connected. Basically, the screen allow you to use your laptop instead of a TV screen.
However, this device was not designed for games. The picture quality is poor and there is no delay of more than the average TV screen.
You still use the Xbox controller to play the game.
